Wisconsin Historical Museum—Wisconsin Innovations Exhibit
The Wisconsin Historical Museum is a great place for visitors of any age. With its cool displays like a Native American 12th century mud hut and a re-creation of a Wisconsin mine shaft, the past virtually comes to life. The Museum's collection includes more than 110,000 historical items and almost 400,000 archeological relics, so there's plenty of historical material to explore.
Admission prices at the Wisconsin Historical Museum are really reasonable, and are in fact a suggested "donation", so visitors can feel good about supporting the institution. Adult tickets are $4 and children under 18 pay only $3. Entry for a family of two adults and two or more kids costs $10.
