Melt Away Your Winter Blues at the Madison Winter Festival!
Winter can get tiresome – clouds, cold noses, short days, and snow, snow, snow – unless you're staying at Best Western Plus Inn on the Park during the Madison Winter Festival, when Capitol Square literally transforms into a Winter Wonderland of snow sports and recreation, right outside our front door! Just in case there's not enough, over 90 truckloads of snow fill the Square for sculpture artists, sledding, snowshoeing, skiing, and more.
Madison Winter Fest Snowy Events
Madison Winter Fest is one of the signature things to do in the city every year, drawing over 20,000 spectators, families, and athletes alike. There are winter-themed museum tours, Cross Country Ski Races, a Rail Jam Snowboard and Ski Competition, Frosty 5K Run & Walk, Cyclo Frost Race, Frosty 1-Mile Dog Jog, and other wintry ways to turn the season into a reason to come together outside in the name of community fun. If you get chilly and want to warm up, you just tuck yourself into Best Western Plus Inn on the Park's very own Jerome's Restaurant or Signature Lounge for a cup of hot cider, cocktail, or hot cocoa.
