Wicked at the Overture Center
Returning to Madison, WI, Wicked is, as the full subtitle states, "the untold story of the Witches of Oz." This incredibly popular musical features music, lyrics, and a storyline that audiences absolutely adore. It's also beloved by critics, winning major awards including a Grammy and three Tonys.
A prequel of sorts to The Wizard of Oz, Wicked is the story of two friends, Glinda the beautiful and Elphaba...who has green skin and is perhaps too smart for her own good. The show will be set on the Overture Hall stage in downtown Madison. This modern performance site is Overture Center's largest venue can accommodate over 2,250 combining amazing acoustics with an intimate feel.
