Directorate Distinguished Lecture Series: An Evening with Frank Warren
The Wisconsin Union Distinguished Lecture Series presents: an Evening with Frank Warren on March 20th. One part artist, one part museum curator, one part webmaster, and one part author, Frank Warren is the creative genius behind the PostSecret Project, an unending community mail art project that has become a collection of more than 500,000 cleverly ornamented handmade postcards that express the exceedingly private and deepest secrets the senders would never dare say aloud. Mailed to Warren anonymously in response to his call for postcard secrets, Warren turned the project into both an art exhibit and eventually the book PostSecret: Extraordinary Confessions from Ordinary Lives, a book that eventually turned him into a New York Times bestselling author and webmaster of an extremely popular online destination. Frank Warren will speak at Union South Varsity Hall on Wednesday, March 20th at 7:30pm as a part of the Wisconsin Union Distinguished Lecture Series. This event is free.
